I almost forgot...

Happy May Day everyone!
I'd be some kind of lousy socialist if I let this day pass without some manner of acknowledging that our friends in China have a four-day holiday (granted, two of those days we'd consider a weekend), and May Day is celebrated across Europe as their labor day holiday. I'm a little perturbed that the "Socialist Party U.S.A." aligns itself with anarchists, per their own website , which to me doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since the majority of socialist issues take actually quite a bit of organization to pull off (health care, labor unions, evidently having a website which has content updated some time this year apart from the front page...)
Nonetheless, May Day is upon us, so let the workers of the world unite!
